Bharat House Success Story

Earlier this month, we had shared a case study on one of our clients that had gone live recently. Today, we are glad to announce another one of our customers who had gone live in recent months and had gained tremendous mileage from Second CRM. Before we look into how Second CRM had helped them, let us shed some light as to what this customer, Bharat House, does.

Bharat House is a social and e-commerce platform targeted at enriching the social lives of Indian expatriates in Malaysia. Being a sizeable community, there has never been a one-stop platform for members of this community to get together, engage as well as to seek for products and services that are of Indian origin. With this gap in mind, Bharat House had come up with this platform that would ideally fill this gap and be of service to not only members of that community, but even to the broader Malaysians as well.

Having social media and e-commerce together on a single platform isn’t an easy feat. During the initial stages, we had to undertake an in-depth analysis of the extremely complex workflows that intertwined between the various functions of the platform. Without a thorough understanding of the spiral of relationships behind their system, it would have been impossible for us to even do anything. Having been convinced with our understanding, we then proposed a solution.

Sales Force Automation

We were at a clients place last week and the main topic of discussion was about digitally transforming their sales team. The majority of the audience were members of the sales team and they did not seem too happy with the whole idea. We sensed this and asked them what they had thought about the whole plan. The majority of them felt that this was an exercise that was carried out to closely monitor them and all their activities.

Though this was far from the truth, it was not surprising that they had felt this way. In fact, many a time, most salespeople feel the same way when some systems are put in place. The idea of putting systems in place is not to micromanage the team. It is all about increasing productivity and improving efficiency. We had to take some time and explain this concept to the team. Ultimately, if the team is worried about systems being put in place, then the adoption rate is definitely going to be very low and eventually, regardless how good the system is, the initiative would be a failure solely because of the lack of buy-in. Therefore, educating the team on the benefits has got to happen as early as day one.

Digitally transforming your sales force has tremendous benefits. Not only does it make the life of a salesperson easier, the automation part ensures that your prospects’ needs are immediately attended to and you would never ever leave them out to dry. Instantaneous responses to automatic workflows kicking in take’s this arduous task off the shoulders of the salesperson. Quicker responses make the prospect feel special. That in itself creates a deep-rooted bond between the prospect and the salesperson. These minute and simple things are often ignored by most people not knowing the psychological impact that it could have on building brand loyalty which invariably leads to customer retention.

Salespeer Case Study

In our blog last week, we had shared some key reasons why organizations need to embrace digital transformation. This week, let’s take a look at one of our clients, Salespeer, who had worked with us to resolve many of their pain points that had been bugging them for some time now. Before we move on to the details, let us give you a brief as to what Salespeer does.

Salespeer is a Sales Management tool built specifically for small businesses looking at automating their processes. Right from lead management, this solution is built with a myriad of workflows, approvals and escalation processes that manages the sales pipeline in a healthy, clean and uncluttered fashion. All customer touch points which includes calls, emails, meetings, appointments and even tasks are handled with ease. Salespeer also provides a complex calendaring function that handles scheduling of tasks and appointments. Not only does Salespeer automate the presales function, it even has the extended capability of handling post sales activities right up to invoicing, all in one central application.

Being a company that is in the SaaS business, they had a few critical issues that needed to be addressed right away as these were some pressing issues that were not only a hindrance to their growth, but it was also making their day to day operations painstakingly difficult to manage. To learn more about this engagement, kindly do click here.

Digital Transformation is the way forward in 2018

As we cross over to the first week of 2018, we at Soft Solvers Solutions would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy & Prosperous Year ahead! Having been spearheading the Digital Transformation drive from mid-2017, we have huge plans for executing this campaign with a big bang this year.

From our observation, many organizations have still not been able to grasp the benefits of digital transformation. Digital transformation is vital in making every organization improve its efficiency and profitability. As the organization grows, processes become even more complex and many a time, more processes are put in place. This is when the digital transformation process has to kick in. This would greatly automate many of those arduous tasks and let employees perform better by doing what they do best. Turnaround time improves, employee morale is kept optimum and in that process, the entire organization benefits manifold.

Digital Transformation is not something that happens organization-wide overnight. It is a step by step process of automating each and every business function, be it Sales, Marketing, Human Resource, and every other aspect of the business. This incremental effort would have a build up effect over a period of time and the entire organization would find itself to be on an accelerated mode, all because of this collective automation effort that has been happening in every nook and corner of the organization.

How to Deploy a CRM Solution with Zero Budgets

As a business, there are many advantages of investing in a CRM system. It allows you to follow up with quality leads, engages prospects in an efficient manner and saves time by automating many of these tedious processes and this invariably results in shorter sales cycles and improved win rates. Moreover, with a system in place, you can identify customer buying patterns and identify potential upsell opportunities. CRM also integrates with accounting software’s as well as other solutions and this end to end automation is one of the key reasons why every business should invest in a CRM.

However, many startups these days look at the initial cost of setting up a CRM system and that price tag frightens most of them. Having said that, most startups resort to Excel spreadsheets, mass business cards, shared email folders, calendars etc. to store customer data as it is a much cheaper option. All these tools do work but they lack the powerful enablers that come with a CRM solution and in the long run, it makes it tedious to manage large customer base which stunts meaningful business growth. Here are a few options that you could begin with if you have a zero budget but would love to deploy a CRM solution.

Cyberjaya 4th Quarterly Meeting

CEO of Soft Solvers Solutions, Mr. Mohandeep Singh was giving a talk about Automating Processes and Improving Sales

Last Friday, we were invited to speak at an event organized by Cyberview Sdn. Bhd., the land owners of Cyberjaya, addressing some of their key stakeholders, partners as well as business owners located within Cyberjaya and the topic that they had wanted us to speak on was about Automating Processes and Improving Sales. To learn more about Cyberview and what they do, please click here.

The audience was a blend of Start-Ups, SME’s and even large corporations and the excitement and energy levels in that room was amazing. Both during and after the session, we had such an overwhelming engagement that it sometimes amazes us how people often forget to embrace technology and digitally transform their organization.

About Second CRM

Before we start sharing some of the industry best practices, it would only be right if we opened up and told you our story. As a company, Soft Solvers Solutions Sdn Bhd was founded by Deep and Sarab, two industry professionals with huge aspirations in the year 2010.

Then, we were merely a three man company with a focus on serving the SME community. We realized that a major problem that SME’s face when it comes to software adoption is the heavy upfront cost of setting up servers and other hardware. Wanting to remove this burden off their shoulders, we decided to offer a cloud based solution at a cost effective rate to the SME community.

We then did a product launch and waited for customers to come on board. It was a long painstaking wait, yet we did not see any returns in terms of sign-ups. That was a moment of realisation for us. It was only then that we realized that the Asian market was still very conservative when it comes to embracing cloud solutions as they still needed that human touch and engagement unlike the western world.

Hello!

Welcome to the Second CRM Blogs, the blog and newsroom for Second CRM, a company that focuses on business automation solution designed to make medium to large corporations more productive by automating their operations using Internet and mobile technologies.

While having coffee with a friend last week, we shared some of our experiences which he found to be directly addressing his issue at hand and that was when he suggested that we should share this wealth of information with a larger audience as there may be many who are in the similar shoes and would be looking for solutions to their problems.

That was the moment that we decided to blog and share our experiences. In the weeks and months to come, you can expect more and more blogs to be published which covers a wide scope; some could be directly addressing an operational problem and how to overcome it up to even things like the latest happenings out there in the IT world.
